Your rearview mirror

“You do not move ahead by constantly looking in a rearview mirror. The past is a rudder to guide you, not an anchor to drag you. We must learn from the past but not live in the past.” — Warren W. Wiersbe

“Your rearview mirror”

“In the business world, the rearview mirror is always clearer than the windshield.” — Warren Buffett

“Your rearview mirror”

“Your future starts today. Don’t go through life looking in the rearview mirror. Your life is filled with possibility.” — Joel Osteen

Everyone that drives a car has a rearview mirror. Without it we would all be driving blind into oblivion.

Life is much the same.

So many intelligent people that are actually great people do not utilize their rearview mirror effectively whatsoever. In fact, their rearview mirror represents all the errors, omissions, circumstances, unfortunate decisions, poor choices, miscalculations and everything else that fits this category.

There is another method of actually using the rearview mirror more effectively and on a consistent basis 24/7 and 86, 400 seconds of each glorious day.

However, it takes incredible, personal discipline in order to sustain its effective use.

Stand guard.

Be a sentinel to all intruding toxic thoughts that ultimately create havoc in your life.

You are not going to bury your head in the sand however you must not ingest toxic thoughts that create feelings, actions and results that undermine your well-being.

That little self-talk on your shoulder is responsible for anyone looking constantly into their rearview mirror instead of focusing on the present moment of life.

Change it up and shut the door to intrusive dialogue that entices you to look at your rearview mirror instead of looking forward at all your amazing possibilities that actually exist.

We can all react or we can all learn to respond.

When we react, we give away our power and we become vulnerable and automatically begin to look at our rearview mirror.

You cannot control what is externally bombarding you every single day but you can control what’s going on inside of you.

It’s so easy to worry.

Worry is praying for what you don’t want.

We are all a mass of energy in a high speed of vibration and in order to manage worry, anxiety, stress or panic, you must learn to develop your ability to concentrate to a very high level.

You do this by looking forward and not back at your rearview mirror.

You see, you’ve got what it takes but all that you have to do is adjust your personal, rearview mirror and only use it to help you manage the present moment more effectively.

It doesn’t happen over night but with practice, your rearview mirror now becomes your rudder and your anchor is long gone.

Carpe Momentum.

Yours in success,
