“Stay thirsty”

The most deplorable word on the planet is this four-letter word fear. I could think of a lot of other four-letter words but this one takes the cake.

This four-letter word steals your joy. It steals your dreams. It absolutely steals anything and everything that you ever wanted to accomplish on this earth and beyond.

It is responsible for conflicts, wars, poverty, lack and so many other maladies that have inflicted the human race.

You’re getting the picture?

I really don’t hate anything or anyone but this word is interesting to say the least.

This four-letter word rears its ugly head whenever there is change in our environment intellectually, emotionally, spiritually, physically and financially. It is the five to seven alarm fire that triggers our lizard brain into action. Once our lizard brain is activated anything can happen.

Therefore, immediately begin to focus only on what you want intellectually, emotionally, spiritually, physically and financially.

“Do the thing you fear and the death of fear is certain.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson

No longer focus on present circumstances as present circumstances are continually changing and do not count.

You always get what you focus on and you’re thinking and subsequent attitude determines your focus.

Stay thirsty and always expect the best as anything else leads nowhere.

So, when life gives you a lemon turn into lemonade.

Matshona Dhliwayo expressed it this way. “When life hands you dirt plant seeds”.

Plant your seed with passion, love and everything else that gets you to your destination. You accomplish this by defining your very own personal culture.

You know you are breathing and not simply on life support so you must strive to possess a belief system of attitudes and values that are continually evolving.

Without a distinct personal culture, an individual is doomed to failure.

This culture is developed through self-leadership and faith in yourself.

You lead from within and aim towards your target. Don’t sidebar yourself even though people will doubt your direction.

Discipline yourself to what needs to be done without anyone telling you.

Do what others won’t do.

Stay thirsty.

Expect to get there with expectation and gratitude and be responsible for your decisions, actions & results, as the blame game no longer exists here.

The question that you should ask yourself before you go to sleep tonight is who am I becoming?

So begin to imagine your greatness.

Stay thirsty.

“Imagine if you will being on your deathbed — and standing around your bed — the ghosts of the ideas, the dreams, the abilities, the talents given to you by life. And that you for whatever reason, you never acted on those ideas, you never pursued that dream, you never used those talents, we never saw your leadership, you never used your voice, you never wrote that book. And there they are standing around your bed looking at you with large angry eyes saying, ‘we came to you, and only you could have given us life’! Now we must die with you forever. The question is — if you die today, what ideas, what dreams, what abilities, what talents, what gifts, would die with you?” — Les Brown

So don’t play it safe.

Some people are enablers and codependents that walk around with their own personalized dictionary filled with a myriad of excuses. When they need one, they simply pluck it out of their resource and provide it to any one on their play it safe list.

Learn to become a gladiator of faith, peace, trust, inspiration, confidence and every other empowering factor that exists on this glorious planet that we call Earth.

The piranhas will never leave you alone, but your armor will protect you from all intruders.

Your psychological and spiritual armor will create a shield of protection around you 24/7 and 86,400 seconds of each glorious day.

Listen to the following and eradicate all excuses.

Continue to stay thirsty for life regardless of present circumstances.

This is the beginning of creating your own personal armor and staying thirsty for more happiness, more success, more prosperity, more peace and of course more health and well-being.
