Remember the naysayers and anonymous bad actors are always lurking and ready to tell you that you dropped the ball. Besides, if that was the case, they would no longer be hiding behind the veil of anonymity. Understand that it’s a free for all as not all platforms honor their community standards.

“You cannot clap with one hand alone.” — John Taylor Wood

It’s called the left hand, right hand syndrome in industry and life. Each hand understands what needs to be done however there is great difficulty in shaking hands in order to bring anything towards fruition.

We’ve all experienced this from time to time.

Most people are fairly proficient about their role however it is easy for the communication to go sideways during the exchange between one hand and the other.

Dedicated professionals follow department protocols to complete their tasks, but once the information is passed on, control over the task’s outcome shifts to the next party.

Sounds familiar?

However, deliberate and decisive action is the real name of the game.

People don’t want lip service.

They want action.

The following describes this left hand, right hand syndrome that is so apparent today.

People want your words to be real. Therefore, do what you say that you will do. Follow through with action in an appropriate manner.

Do it.

Don’t make up some lame excuse in order to deflect responsibility or ownership. Put your name on it. Your name is important to you.

Your name is synonymous with integrity and longevity. You protect this investment with your word and action.

Don’t pretend to act.

Do it.

Lip service does not live here.

Whatever you have promised, ensure that you deliver the goods.

These are some of the common lip service comments.

“It’s under review, so I’ll get back to you.” Guess what they never get back to you.

“There’s been a change in policy.” “The product is no longer available so I guess we’re out of luck.”

“The price has changed and I wasn’t aware of this” “I have no clue what is going on here.”

“The posted price is not the same as the price on the product.”

I can go on and on however what’s important here is that we must do whatever it takes in order to perform our due diligence and full disclosure.

Everyone needs to be on the same page. If we are not on the same page, we will continue to drop the ball from one department to another and one person to another.

“It’s not my job.” “That’s not my responsibility”

The list is endless.

So how do we stop this dropping the ball syndrome and move forward with our product or service?

People need to understand why they do what they do. This realization unravels many scenarios that could easily be rectified at the onset.

The call to action is clear: understand the purpose behind tasks, communicate effectively, and ensure that promises are kept. This approach can help mitigate the issues caused by the left hand, right hand syndrome.

Remember the naysayers and anonymous bad actors are always lurking and ready to tell you that you dropped the ball.

It’s a free for all as not all platforms honor their community standards. Besides, if that was the case, they would no longer be hiding behind the veil of anonymity.

You get it and all of these writings and podcasts are intended to provide you with ideas that transform into an armor of emotional intelligence tools that will allow you have better results.

I studied with Bob Proctor and if he was here to day, he would say study, read and listen.

The upcoming “Seven Levels of Awareness”is the beginning of not dropping the ball.

Carpe momentum.

The best is yet to come.
